Due Date Calculation Method

The calculation is based on an adjusted **Naegele's Rule**. This rule estimates the **EDD** by adding 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of the **LMP**, then adjusting for cycle length.

EDD = LMP + 280 days + (Cycle Length - 28) days

This method assumes that ovulation occurred 14 days after the **LMP**. If the exact conception date is known, a more accurate **EDD** is **Conception Date + 266 days** (38 weeks).
