Respiration Rate Analyzer 🌬️
Determine and classify your breathing rate (**breaths per minute**) based on your age group.
Understanding Respiration Rate (RR)
Respiration Rate (RR) is measured as the number of breaths (inhalations and exhalations) a person takes per minute (BPM) while at rest. It is a key component of the **National Early Warning Score (NEWS)** in hospitals.
Calculation Method:
The rate is typically determined by counting the rise and fall of the chest or abdomen over 30 seconds and multiplying the result by 2.
RR = (Breaths in 30 seconds) / 0.5 minutes
For clinical accuracy, the patient should be unaware the rate is being measured.
